A digipak is a CD/DVD holder which is made out of cardboard with plastic holder inside to hold one or more disks.
Digipaks are used for special editions of a CD or CD singles.
Digipaks normally include a booklet which will either have the lyrics on or a lot of information about the CD/ songs and the artist.
The original owners for the digipak trademark were IMPAC Group and the company was obtained by MeadWestvaco which then folded into an AGI media division in 2000.
